((Ive always wondered why they used nordic gods not their own god and/or Jesus, since America is so religious shouldnt it be against their religious pride seeing a nordic god as hero of america? and what are the nordic gods even doing in america? why arnt they in europe? And why are they able to speak english fluently ? :O ))
The only reason they were “Nordic Gods” is because that was the part of the world that believed in them. That doesn’t mean that the gods only paid attention to that part of the world. Just like Roman gods didn’t only care about Rome and surrounding areas, it’s just where the main group of believers resided.

But Marvel does allude to a Christian hell in many of its comic’s with a character Mesphisto.
